Dog Training FAQ

Why do you do the training for me?

You wouldn’t hire a lawyer to teach you how to argue your case or a plumber to show you how to unclog your drain. Why hire a trainer to teach you how to train your dog? Our professional, certified trainer can get training results for you in a fraction of the time and with stronger, lasting results. And then she’ll teach you simple strategies for continued success.

Do I have to do anything to help with my dog’s training?

So glad you asked! We’ll do the heavy lifting, but you still have a role to play. At our weekly coaching sessions, we’ll teach you some simple steps to keep your dog’s training strong for her lifetime. Your attendance at those coaching sessions is critical, as is your commitment to protect the training we do for you.

How long will it take to see results?

It’s considered unethical in the dog training profession to guarantee results, but our 10+ years of experience have shown us that packages give our clients the best chance of success by creating consistency and commitment—two key ingredients for training results.

Once we’ve had a chance to meet you and your dog during your orientation, we’ll give you a better sense of what to expect based on your goals and your dog’s behavior. (For example, fear-based behavior takes longer to unravel than undesirable behaviors that are just bad habit.)

Do you charge travel fees?

Nope. Everything is included in our package fees for dog training in Alexandria, Arlington, McLean, and Vienna, VA.

Ready to reboot your dog's cute?

We can’t wait to help.

Keep It Cute Dog Adult Dog Training Experience

“We are thrilled with the results…”

“My Coonhound, Dory, attacked our other dog and was suffering from severe separation anxiety. Everyone insisted I should rehome one or both dogs, but Ariana has been amazing. In the weeks she has been working with Dory, everyone who’s known her since I brought her home has noticed a significant change in her. The two dogs are now able to play together and Dory is overcoming her fears of being left alone. We are thrilled with the results we received from Ariana.” –Dianna Davis
