Keep It Cute Dog Training Senior

Senior Dog Training

For dogs 9+ years

Senior dogs often make the best family members. But if your senior never mastered her manners, it’s not too late. And if your household is undergoing changes—new four or two-legged family members, for example—your senior might benefit from some help adjusting.

We make senior dog training easy—by doing your homework for you.

That’s right. We understand what busy looks like, so we do the training for you while you work or run errands. Or, if you like, watch us in action.

Dog Training FAQ

Why do you do the training for me?

You wouldn’t hire a lawyer to teach you how to argue your case or a plumber to show you how to unclog your drain. Why hire a trainer to teach you how to train your dog? Our professional, certified trainer can get training results for you in a fraction of the time and with stronger, lasting results. And then she’ll teach you simple strategies for continued success.

Do I have to do anything to help with my dog’s training?

So glad you asked! We’ll do the heavy lifting, but you still have a role to play. At our weekly coaching sessions, we’ll teach you some simple steps to keep your dog’s training strong for her lifetime. Your attendance at those coaching sessions is critical, as is your commitment to protect the training we do for you.

How long will it take to see results?

It’s considered unethical in the dog training profession to guarantee results, but our 10+ years of experience have shown us that packages give our clients the best chance of success by creating consistency and commitment—two key ingredients for training results.

Once we’ve had a chance to meet you and your dog during your orientation, we’ll give you a better sense of what to expect based on your goals and your dog’s behavior. (For example, fear-based behavior takes longer to unravel than undesirable behaviors that are just bad habit.)

Isn’t my old dog too old to train?

Never! Not only can an old dog learn new tricks, she can enjoy it, too. And there are additional benefits—learning can help your dog stay young at heart, stave off boredom, and keep her mind sharp. Not to mention that it can provide relief and peace of mind for you!

Do you charge travel fees?

Nope. Everything is included in our package fees for dog training in Alexandria, Arlington, McLean, and Vienna, VA.

Ready to better enjoy your cute senior?

We can’t wait to help.
